National Disability Insurance Scheme campaign 2024

Join AMT's NDIS campaign

AMT is campaigning to fix an inequity in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Currently, remedial massage therapy is a funded treatment under the NDIS, but only if delivered by allied health practitioners. This policy excludes remedial massage therapists from providing funded services, despite their nationally recognised qualifications and inclusion in other healthcare programs, such as private health insurance and the Home Care Package scheme. AMT has launched a petition calling on the Federal Government to allow qualified remedial massage therapists to provide NDIS-funded services.

Get involved

The simplest thing you can do to get involved is sign the AMT parliamentary petition. Please also download our campaign resources below and contact your local MP to ask for change.
